無論是書寫或口說，想要用英語有效地溝通，就不能不知道句型的用法。很多人或許覺得語言只要能溝通就好，就算無法說出完整的句子也無所謂，但這可能會妨礙深入的溝通，讓彼此的瞭解僅止於簡單的問候。因此，我們特別編寫了一本句型書，針對日常生活最需要的一百個句型，以輕鬆活潑、深入簡出的方式，幫助讀者有效地掌握英文句型。

幾乎所有學過英文的人都聽過「五大句型」，因為所有句子都是從這五種句型發展而來，因此本書一開始先簡單扼要介紹「五大句型」，只要瞭解每一種句型的特性，就能幫助您掌握其他更複雜的句子。

接下來我們將一百個實用的句型設計到「日常生活」、「人際關係」、「辦公求職」和「外出上路」四個類別中，當然這並不是說這些句型只能用在這些類別，而只是為了方便學習，並且提供與主題相關的例句，幫助讀者靈活運用。另外，雖然句型與文法密不可分，但我們並不想在本書中著墨太多嚴肅的文法規則，因此除了每個句型的重點訣竅外，還搭配符合情境的插畫，希望能透過潛移默化的方式幫助讀者活用每一個句型。
