Mary E. Barth is the Joan E. Horngren Professor of Accounting, Emerita, at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business. Barth is a prolific researcher whose award-winning research focuses on financial accounting and reporting. She has served as Vice Chair of the Financial Accounting Foundation Board of Trustees and as a member of the International Accounting Standards Board. Barth was inducted into the Accounting Hall of Fame in 2018.

Wayne R. Landsman is the KPMG Distinguished Professor of Accounting at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published over seventy articles in academic and professional accounting journals, several of which have received prestigious awards. Landsman has served as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Advisory Council and as a consultant to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
