AI and Swarm provides both theoretical and practical knowledge about artificial intelligence (AI) and swarm intelligence. It emphasizes real-world applicability and offers empirical examples to illustrate that the proposed approaches are successful. The book provides essential knowledge about AI and swarm intelligence, such as evolutionary computation (EC), emergent properties, and cellular automata (CA). Some of the simulators that are discussed in the book will be made available online to help readers desribe their practical application tasks on their own. AI and Swarm will be useful to researchers and practitioners in the fields of AI, mechatronics, biology and social behavioral science.
