Dr. Debarka Mukhopadhyay possesses more than seventeen years of experience including research and teaching and is currently associated with Christ University (Deemed to be University), Bangalore as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He is an enthusiastic and result-oriented individual with Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, and M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalyani Govt Engineering College under the West Bengal University of Technology. Dr. Mukhopadhyay possesses 20 patents including 6 International and 14 National (Indian), 14 International Journals, 22 conference proceedings, and 8 book chapters. His current research interest includes Blockchain Technology, IoT, AI, Nano Computing, etc. He is a member of IEEE, ISTE, IETE.
Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya did his Bachelors in Physics, Bachelors in Optics and Optoelectronics, and Masters in Optics and Optoelectronics from the University of Calcutta, India in 1995, 1998, and 2000 respectively. He completed Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2008. He is the recipient of the University Gold Medal from the University of Calcutta for his Masters. He is the recipient of several coveted awards including the Distinguished HoD Award and Distinguished Professor Award conferred by Computer Society of India, Mumbai Chapter, India in 2017, the Honorary Doctorate Award (D. Litt.) from The University of South America and the South East Asian Regional Computing Confederation (SEARCC) International Digital Award ICT Educator of the Year in 2017. He has been appointed as the ACM Distinguished Speaker for the tenure 2018-2020. He has been inducted into the People of ACM hall of fame by ACM, USA in 2020. He has been appointed as the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor for the tenure 2021-2023. He has been elected as the full foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He has been elected a full fellow of The Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (RSA), London, UK.
He is currently serving as the Principal of Rajnagar Mahavidyalaya, Rajnagar, Birbhum. He served as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Christ University, Bangalore. He served as the Principal of RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India during 2017-2019. He has also served as a Senior Research Scientist in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic (2018-2019). Prior to this, he was the Professor of Information Technology of RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He served as the Head of the Department from March 2014 to December 2016. Prior to this, he was an Associate Professor of Information Technology of RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India from 2011-2014. Before that, he served as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Information Technology of the University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan, India from 2005-2011. He was a Lecturer in Information Technology of Kalyani Government Engineering College, India during 2001-2005. He is a co-author of 6 books and the co-editor of 78 books and has more than 300 research publications in international journals and conference proceedings to his credit. He has got two PCTs and 19 patents to his credit. He has been a member of the organizing and technical program committees of several national and international conferences. He is the founding Chair of ICCICN 2014, ICRCICN (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), ISSIP (2017, 2018) (Kolkata, India). Dr. K. Balachandran, working as Professor, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Christ University, Bangalore has done his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has done his post-graduation in molecular physics, Computer application, and Information Technology. His research includes developing an Adaptive weight-based ensemble model for Lung cancer pre-diagnosis. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computer Networks. Out of his total experience of 38 years, he worked as Scientific Officer in Atomic Energy department in Research and Development center catering to assay and analysis of Geo Physical data exploration of Radioactive Minerals for 20 years, in Tata Tea Plantation as a field officer for 1 year and rest of the period in Christ University. He is guiding research scholars in the area of Data Science, Image processing, and Software Engineering.
Sudipta Roy, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Triguna Sen School of Technology, Assam University, Silchar, Assam. He was associated with ACE Consultants, Kolkata, as a Software Professional, and Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India, as a faculty. His research interests are image processing, soft computing techniques, and Network Security. He is presently guiding research scholars as well as postgraduate and graduate students. He has published more than eighty papers in international journals and more than seventy in conference proceedings. He is a member of FIE, FIETE, LMCSI, SMIEEE, SMINNS, MACM.
