Dr. Sita Rani is working as a Professor - Computer Science & Engineering and Deputy Dean (Research) at Gulzar Group of Institutions, Khanna (Punjab). She has completed her B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in the faculty of Computer Science and Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab. At present, she is pursuing one year certification program in the domain of Data Science and Machine Learning from IIT, Roorkee. She is also Postdoctoral Fellow at Data Mining and Virtualization Laboratory, South Ural State University, Russia. She has more than 19 years of teaching experience. She is an active member of IEEE, ISTE and IAEngg. She is the receiver of ISTE Section Best Teacher Award and International Young Scientist Award. She has contributed to the various research activities while publishing articles in the renowned SCI journals and conference proceedings. She has published three international patents also. She has delivered many expert talks in A.I.C.T.E. sponsored Faculty Development Programs and organized many International Conferences during her 19 years of teaching experience. He has awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), 2017, in Computer Science and Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (Govt.), Tirunelveli, India. He received a Master's of Business Administration (MBA), 2020, in Education Management from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, India. He has more than a decade of professional experience in the Industrial R and D, and academic sectors. He has worked as lead Data Engineer for top MNCs like Cognizant, Standard Chartered, Gilead Life Sciences. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) in VIT University, Chennai Campus, India.). His academic and research expertise covers a wide range of subject areas including Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
