Valery Ya. Rudyak is a leading scientist at Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Institute of Thermophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics and a Professor in theoretical mechanics. His main research interests include nonequilibrium statistical mechanics, kinetic theory of gases, rarefied gas dynamics, physics and mechanics of transport processes, transport processes in nanofluids, flows in microchannels, nanofluid flows, molecular dynamics modeling, CFD, and laminar-turbulent transition.

瓦列里·雅·魯迪亞克（Valery Ya. Rudyak）是新西伯利亞建築與土木工程國立大學及俄羅斯科學院西伯利亞分院熱物理研究所的首席科學家。他擁有物理與數學的科學博士學位，並且是理論力學的教授。他的主要研究興趣包括非平衡統計力學、氣體的動力學理論、稀薄氣體動力學、運輸過程的物理與力學、納米流體中的運輸過程、微通道中的流動、納米流體流動、分子動力學模擬、計算流體力學（CFD）以及層流與湍流的轉換。
