Professor Rolando Cardenas finished B Sc in Chemistry in 1988, PhD in Physics in 2003 and Doctorate in Science in 2019. Since its foundation in 2010, he is the Director of the Planetary Science Laboratory of Universidad Central ''Marta Abreu'' de Las Villas (Santa Clara, Cuba). His main research interest is mathematical modeling of natural environments, especially applied to Oceanography, Biophysics, and Planetary Science in general.

羅蘭多·卡德納斯教授於1988年獲得化學學士學位，2003年獲得物理學博士學位，並於2019年獲得科學博士學位。自2010年成立以來，他一直擔任古巴聖克拉拉的「馬爾塔·阿布雷」中央大學行星科學實驗室的主任。他的主要研究興趣是自然環境的數學建模，特別應用於海洋學、生物物理學和行星科學等領域。
