肖恩·庫珀(Shaun Cooper)於1995年在威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校獲得數學博士學位,並自此在紐西蘭的梅西大學(Massey University)工作。他在2000年曾擔任明尼蘇達大學的訪問助理教授一學期,並在新加坡國立大學(National University of Singapore,2007/8)和澳大利亞紐卡索大學(University of Newcastle,2015/16)各花了一年時間。他是約70篇經過審核的期刊文章的作者,並編輯了書籍《根據拉馬努詩發展橢圓函數》(Development of Elliptic Functions According to Ramanujan)。
