Prof. Md. Abdus Salam obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000. He is an Adjunct with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Western University, London, ON, Canada and currently, he is teaching at Conestoga College, Guelph, ON, Canada. His research interests include power systems modelling for on-line control, insulator pollution studies, grounding systems, Quality Engineering and renewable energy. He is a author of a few Electrical Engineering Textbooks and he has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in different journals and conference papers. He is a senior member of IEEE, Member and Chartered Engineer (CEng) of IET.

Md. Abdus Salam 教授於2000年在馬來西亞科技大學獲得電機工程博士學位。他是加拿大安大略省倫敦市西方大學電機與計算機工程系的兼任教授，目前在加拿大安大略省的科內斯托加學院教授課程。他的研究興趣包括在線控制的電力系統建模、絕緣體污染研究、接地系統、品質工程和可再生能源。他是幾本電機工程教科書的作者，並在不同的期刊和會議論文中發表了許多經過同行評審的文章。他是IEEE的資深會員，也是IET的會員及特許工程師（CEng）。
