Professor Qing Duan (1953-2022), a distinguished Boya Chair Professor at Peking University, has dedicated her career to teaching and rigorously investigating Middle Iranian languages, Sanskrit, Pali, and Gandhari. Internationally renowned, her scholarly achievements are especially significant in the fields of Indology, Buddhist studies, Silk Road manuscript research, and the study of Sanskrit palm-leaf manuscripts.Her previous works includes the publication of An Introduction to Pāṇini's Grammar (2001), Khotan, Buddhism, and Ancient Manuscripts (2013), Xiyu Documents in the National Library of China: Khotanese Volume (I) (2015), Kharoṣṭhī Correspondence in the Qinghai Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum (2016) and so on.

段青教授（1953-2022），北京大學的傑出博雅講座教授，致力於教學和深入研究中伊朗語言、梵語、巴利語和甘達哈里語。她在國際上享有盛譽，學術成就對於印度學、佛教研究、絲綢之路手稿研究以及梵語棕櫚葉手稿的研究尤為重要。她的著作包括《梵語文法導論》（2001年）、《和田、佛教與古代手稿》（2013年）、《中國國家圖書館的西域文獻：和田文卷（I）》（2015年）、《青海藏醫文化博物館的喀羅什文書信》（2016年）等。
