He Yang is a Professor in the College of Foreign Languages and Cultures at Xiamen University, where she is also a member of the Language, Cognition and Intelligence Lab. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen, UK. Her research focuses on language learning motivation, individual differences and L2 pragmatics.

何揚是廈門大學外語與文化學院的教授，同時也是語言、認知與智能實驗室的成員。她擁有英國阿伯丁大學的博士學位。她的研究專注於語言學習動機、個體差異及第二語言的語用學。
