Hao Zou, Ph.D., is a full professor at Chengdu University of Technology, China. He is also an associate editor of Ore Geology Reviews and co-Editor-in-Chief of Ore and Energy Resource Geology. He has long been dedicated to conducting research in the fields of tectonics and mineral deposits. As the project leader, he has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, including Key Program, the General Program and Youth Science Fund Project (Category C) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as National Science and Technology Major Project. He was awarded High-level Young Talent Award of China in 2023. He has published more than 140 papers in renowned academic journals, including Earth and Planetary Science Letters, National Science Review, Earth-Science Reviews, and has co-published 4 monographs and 3 textbook.

Franco Pirajno has considerable experience in tectonics, ore deposit geology and mineral explorations in Europe, southern Africa, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Indonesia, the southwest Pacific, China, Greenland, southern and eastern Siberia and Australia. While working at the GSWA, his duties included in-depth studies of the mineral systems of Western Australia and comparative analyses with similar systems in other parts of the world. In the last 25 years, Franco Pirajno has worked extensively in Western Australia's Proterozoic terranes and was instrumental in the discovery of a new large igneous province in Australia. He was a visiting professor at Peking University in 2003 and at the China University of Geosciences, Beijing in 2004 and 2005, respectively. He was a distinguished foreign professor at Hefei University of Technology from September-October 2012. He was the appointed chairperson of the SEG Fellowship Admissions Committee from 2009 to 2011.
