Prof. Dr. Kang Yong Lee taught and studied in the field of the book title in South Korea, China, and the USA, as well as he published more than 300 SCI papers. He is Former President of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME), Fellow Emeritus of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology, and Emeritus Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea. He was registered in Marquis Who's Who in the World and in Outstanding People of the 20th Century, International Biographical Center, England, in 2000.

李康永教授在韓國、中國和美國教授及研究本書標題所涉及的領域，並發表了超過300篇SCI論文。他曾擔任韓國機械工程師學會（KSME）會長，並是韓國科學技術院的榮譽院士及韓國國家工程院的榮譽會員。他於2000年被登錄於《世界名人錄》（Marquis Who's Who in the World）及《20世紀傑出人物》（Outstanding People of the 20th Century），英國國際傳記中心。
