PAN Yue, PhD in history, is Director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. He has once acted as Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, First Vice President of the Academy of Chinese Culture, Vice Minister of Environmental Protection, and Deputy Director of the Economic Structural Reform Office of the State Council. His recent publications include Comparative Studies on Chinese and Western Civilizations (Chinese Edition) (published in January 2022), Comparative Studies on Chinese and Western Civilizations: The Warring States and Ancient Greece (English Edition) (published in January 2022), Comparative Studies on Chinese and Western Civilizations: The Qin and Han Dynasties and Ancient Rome (English Edition) (published in May 2022), and Comparative Studies on Chinese and Western Civilizations: Ancient China and Rome under the Alien Rule (English Edition) (published in June 2024).

潘越，歷史學博士，現任中華人民共和國國家民族事務委員會主任。他曾擔任國務院僑務辦公室主任、中華文化學院首席副院長、環境保護部副部長及國務院經濟結構改革辦公室副主任。他最近的出版物包括《中西文明比較研究》（中文版）（於2022年1月出版）、《中西文明比較研究：戰國與古希臘》（英文版）（於2022年1月出版）、《中西文明比較研究：秦漢與古羅馬》（英文版）（於2022年5月出版）以及《中西文明比較研究：外族統治下的古中國與羅馬》（英文版）（於2024年6月出版）。
