Chinese Academy of History, founded on January 3, 2019, has been shouldering the responsibilities of the guide of the researches of Chinese history, the integration of resources and forces to plan the researches on Chinese history in the new era and organization and implementation of major national projects to tell Chinese history and spread Chinese culture. With the aim of establishing itself into the center of comprehensive research and international academic exchanges for Chinese history and the research institution of Chinese history with the authority and influence in the world, it commits itself to promoting the systems of discipline, academy and discourse of history with Chinese characteristics, the integrated development of history with other fields, and the function of history to deal with current situations and political affairs with historical experience.

中國歷史學院成立於2019年1月3日，肩負著引導中國歷史研究的責任，整合資源和力量，規劃新時代的中國歷史研究，並組織和實施重大國家項目，以講述中國歷史和傳播中國文化。其目標是建立成為中國歷史綜合研究和國際學術交流的中心，以及在全球具有權威性和影響力的中國歷史研究機構，致力於推動具有中國特點的歷史學科、學術和話語體系的建設，促進歷史與其他領域的綜合發展，以及利用歷史經驗應對當前形勢和政治事務的功能。
