Environment and Resources Division of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China is responsible for cases of first and second instance involving environmental disputes handled by the Supreme People's Court and examines trials of cases involving environmental or resource disputes where the defendant challenges a judgment or ruling by a lower people's court.
