Dr S.N Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, where his research focused on the development of novel medical image processing segmentation and compression algorithms for telemedicine applications. Dr. Kumar has a Master's degree in Applied Electronics and is highly distinguished in his academic achievements, having received top marks and first-class honors throughout his education. With a rich academic career, he has contributed significantly to the field of medical image processing, including segmentation and compression techniques for CT/MRI images. Dr. Kumar has also been actively involved in funded projects, including a Co-Principal Investigator role for a DST-sanctioned project.
