Dr. Moshe Rabaev is an independent consultant with over 25 years of experience in the Israeli Air Force, where he led the Science and Materials Division. He specializes in strategic research and technology development across various areas, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), failure analysis, fuels and lubricants, composite materials, corrosion, polymers, analytical chemistry, and additive manufacturing. Dr. Rabaev chairs the Central Committee for Chemical Standards at the Standards Institute of Israel and is a member of multiple specialized committees. He also serves as a board member of the International Association for the Stability and Handling of Liquid Fuels (IASH) and is a member of the ASTM International D02.J Subcommittee. Additionally, he holds a senior researcher position at the Blechner Center for Industrial Catalysis and Process Development at Ben-Gurion University. With dozens of scientific publications, books, and conference proceedings to his name, Dr. Rabaev has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Merit of Excellence from the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Award for Technological Innovation from the IDF Commander-in-Chief.

Dr. Joanna M Bauldreay is an independent consultant (2019+), with over 30 years' industrial R&D experience, including championing new jet fuels from laboratories to commercialization. Her consulting work, focused on jet fuel technical matters, includes helping customers through processes and technical requirements to produce "Fit for Purpose Fuels for Future Flights". Throughout she has been involved with key technical aviation stakeholder groups and research consortia, including: Coordinating Research Council (CRC) Aviation Fuels Committee (past Chair, Steering Committee, Chair of Emerging Fuels Group), UK MoD Aviation Fuels Committee, International Association for the Stability, Handling and Use of Liquid Fuels (IASH), Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative (CAAFI), UK Clearing House Advisory Group, UK Jet Zero Council subgroups, NATO AVT-309, UK SUPERGEN Bioenergy Hub Industrial Advisory Board, and ASTM International, D02 Subcommittee J. Awards received include: IASH Lifetime Achievement, CAAFI "Most valuable chemist", CRC Recognition for leadership, and ASTM Award of Appreciation.

Dr. Frederick J Passman is an ASTM Fellow, STLE Fellow and Certified Metalworking Fluids Specialist with more than 50 years' experience in environmental-industrial microbiology. Since 1973, Dr. Passman has conducted research and consulted the government and private industry on diverse topics related to microbial ecology and biodeterioration. Dr. Passman is a member of numerous professional and trade organizations including ASTM, the International Biodegradation & Biodeterioration Society (IBBS) and STLE. Dr. Passman has twice received STLE's Wilber Deutsch Memorial Award for writing excellence, is a recipient of STLE's P.M. Ku Award and Raymond L. Thibault Excellence in Education Award. He has also received ASTM's Award of Merit, and ASTM Committee D02's George V. Dyroff Award and Eagle Award. Dr. Passman also received the International Association on the Stability, Use, and Handling of Liquid Fuels' Lifetime Achievement Award. He has more than 70 publications to his name.

Dr. Raj Shah is Director at Koehler Instrument Company in New York and a globally recognized expert in petroleum testing with over 30 years of experience. A Ph.D. graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Shah has edited several books and authored over 700 papers and is an elected Fellow by his peers at The Energy Institute, ASTM, STLE, AIC, AOCS, NLGI, InstMC, IChemE, The Chartered management Institute, Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics. With decades of leadership in ASTM, he has chaired key subcommittees and co-created the ASTM hands-on courses in fuel technology. Dr. Shah's exceptional contributions have been honored with multiple awards, such as the ASTM award of merit, the ASTM Eagle Award and 3 ASTM awards of Excellence. Dr. Shah is also an Adjunct professor of Chemical Engineering at State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY. As a co-editor of seminal works like both the editions of ASTM Fuels and Lubricants Handbook, Dr. Shah continues to advance scientific knowledge as a Chartered petroleum engineer while currently serving on several advisory boards and contributing to professional societies globally.

Mr. Liel Mazar is a fuels and petroleum products engineer with six years of experience specializing in aviation fuels quality assurance, infrastructure, laboratory analysis, and incident management. He has extensive expertise in aviation fuel systems, infrastructure, laboratory testing and interpretation, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and international regulation. Liel is well-versed in JIG standards and a range of global fuel-related protocols, contributing to the development of Israeli Standards 6294, 5563 and 7566. Liel has led key initiatives within the Israeli Air Force, including developing microbial fuel testing laboratories, advancing SAF integration, and adopting new fuel testing technologies. His roles have spanned leading teams, engineering policy, quality assurance in fuel handling, and resolving complex anomalies in aviation fuel systems.
