This volume is the seven number of a significant series aims to bring together some of the most significant contributions addressing the effective integration of mathematics and computational intelligence, with particular emphasis on fuzzy systems and fuzzy logic.
Generative Artificial intelligence (AI), in particular, or AI, in general, is now widely present in both the media and real-world practice. Every day, thousands of intelligent automated systems for decision-making are developed and deployed worldwide. Their design relies on a broad range of advanced techniques rooted in mathematics and computational intelligence. For this reason, it is essential to continuously pursue new approaches in these domains and to investigate models and algorithms based on the strong interplay between these two fields. A substantial portion of this issue is devoted to applications of these disciplines, with special attention given to the development and use of mathematical methods, artificial intelligence, and automated reasoning tools in the field of Digital Forensics.
