Joseph Strayhorn, Jr. M.D. is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She completed her predoctoral internship at Hutchings Psychiatric Center. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse NY, where she teaches and supervises psychology interns, and is the Adult Psychologist for the Mental Health for Trauma and Burn team that conducts brief interventions with patients to reduce the risk of emotional difficulties following a trauma or burn. She also has a part time generalist private practice.

Yanli Zhang-James, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Trained as both a physician and neuroscientist, Dr. Zhang-James leads interdisciplinary projects aimed at advancing our understanding of neuropsychiatric disorders and human behavior. Her recent work focuses on the complex interplay between mental and physical health, with a strong commitment to translating research findings into practical tools for psychoeducation and clinical decision-making. She also mentors medical students and residents, fostering evidence-based research and education in psychiatry.
