H. W. Becker, a management consultant based in Hamburg, Germany, holds degrees in electrical engineering and psychology. After a career in marketing and sales, he founded his own consultancy to train sales engineers. He completed psychotherapy training alongside his work, and for a decade, he practiced as a psychotherapist while advising renowned companies on management issues. Now, focusing solely on guiding executives through crises, his work is informed by phenomenological philosophy. He is a lecturer at Nürtingen-Geislingen University, Germany.
